Grades 7 and 8: Catechists and students will use Chosen: This is Your Catholic Faith, a program by Ascension Press as their first year of Confirmation preparation. The classes will help to develop the critical thinking skills that enable young people to solve moral dilemmas and encourage our youth to be grounded in their faith. Students will need a bible regularly as they tackle topics that are relevant to their lives. The classes emphasize justice and service, and challenge teens to recognize the needs of people in their world. They will be led through fun and compelling discussions that will encourage them to talk and share. As they examine the Church, they will come to care about and explore the essential beliefs of our Catholic Christian faith.
